Investigation into case of prosecutor who assisted terrorists in Ingushetia is completed

Staff members of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have completed the investigation of a criminal case initiated against the head of the Department of Internal Security of the Prosecutor's Office of Ingushetia Nurdy Doklaev. He is accused of aiding terrorists. It was reported by Kommersant newspaper.

According to the Investigative Committee, the defendant assisted a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation in the period from 2013 to 2018. He informed the militants about the upcoming actions of the security forces and advised the leaders of the organization.

Doklaev denies his guilt. He could face life imprisonment.
