Afghan security forces eliminated six IS fighters in western Herat

Afghan security forces stormed a hideout of militants affiliated with Islamic State (IS) in the city of Herat, eliminating six terrorists, including a woman, province police spokesman Abdullah Insaf stated.

During the operation, police also seized weapons and ammunition, including three machine guns, five pistols and 15 telephones.
