56 Russian children from Syrian refugee camps delivered to Moscow
Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of Russia Maria Lvova-Belova brought 56 Russian children from Syrian refugee camps back to Moscow. The press service of the Commissioner for Children's Rights reported this to RT.
“With the assistance of Maria Lvova-Belova, 56 Russian children aged three to 17 returned to their homeland. 49 of them were in the refugee camps in the Trans-Euphrates and seven more were in a shelter in Damascus,” the source of RT stated, specifying that the children were delivered from the Syrian Arab Republic by aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which arrived in Sheremetyevo on March 12.
Upon arrival, the whole group will be sent to one of the capital's medical centers, and then thsy will spend several weeks in Moscow Social Rehabilitation Center.
