Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that, due to the joint efforts of the Russian Federation and Syria, significant success has been achieved in combating international terrorism.

“We are in contact permanently and our relations are developing. Due to our joint efforts and the decisive contribution of the Russian armed forces in Syria, significant results have been achieved in combating international terrorism,” Putin said on Wednesday, receiving Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Kremlin.
