Syrian forces attack terrorist bases in Idlib

The artillery of the Syrian army attacked the positions of the armed groups in the vicinity of Maaret Elnaasan village in the north of Idlib governorate. This was reported by Al Watan newspaper. According to them, the strikes were also carried in Jabal al-Zawiya highland which serves as an outpost of Jabhat al-Nusra extremist group. As a result, there are killed and wounded on the enemy side.

A significant part of Idlib is still controlled by the illegal armed groups. In 2017, a northern de-escalation zone was created there, and militants who refused to lay down their arms in Eastern Ghouta near Damascus and the southern regions of the country moved to that zone.
