A resident of Ingushetia sentenced to 12 years in prison for participating in a terrorist organization
A resident of Ingushetia was sentenced to 12 years in prison for involvement in the Emirate of the Caucasus terrorist organization banned in Russia. This was reported to RG by the Southern District Military Court.
The man joined the terrorist group cell in March 2017. In the summer of 2020, he found safe houses for the leader of the organization and other members and provided them with food and basic necessities. He also arranged provision of medical care to one of the accomplices.
For three years, a resident of Ingushetia illegally stored, carried and transported firearms, ammunition, explosive devices, mines and grenades.
In addition to participating in the activities of the terrorist organization and the illegal armed group, the man was accused of illegal storage and transportation of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
