Kadyrov announced elimination of two militants in the Chechen Gudermes

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov reported elimination of two militants in the republic. A special operation to eliminate them was carried out in the private sector of Gudermes. Local residents were not hurt.

According to Kadyrov, during the special operation, the security forces blocked the intruders and offered them to surrender, but they threw a grenade towards the law enforcement officers, trying to escape.

“They were both eliminated by return fire. Law enforcement officers were not injured,” the statement posted on Telegram says.

Kadyrov also denied the information that only some of the militants had been eliminated, while the rest were allegedly planning new surprise attacks on the security forces.
