A Moscow visitor sentenced to 12 years for inciting to terrorism

A Moscow court sentenced a visitor of the city to 12 years of imprisonment for calling for terrorism on Instagram as a member of the Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad foreign terrorist organization banned in Russia. The press service of the FSB for Moscow and the Moscow region reported this to TASS.

According to the investigation, I. Samijonov, born in 1999, published propaganda materials and urged people on Instagram to carry out terrorist attacks under the Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad organization, trying to involve citizens of the Moscow region in terrorist activities.
