Three terrorists detained in Iraq

Iraqi military intelligence detained three terrorists during two separate security operations in Diyala and Baghdad, Shafaq News reported.

It is known that the operations were carried out with the assistance of local security forces and included ambushes at two strategic points: at the checkpoint 109 between Baghdad and Diyala and in the village of Fatimiyat.

According to the statement, those arrested were wanted under Article 4 on Terrorism.

“The two arrested persons were caught having explosives, weapons, and ISIS flags in their possession. The terrorists, together with the confiscated evidence, were handed over to the relevant authorities,” the statement concludes.
