Kabul: Terrorist capabilities in Afghanistan are exaggerated

ISIS capabilities in Afghanistan are exaggerated, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Chief of Army Staff Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat stated in an interview with RTA on March 30.

Fitrat noted that the Afghan authorities were successfully confronting this group.

“Some acts of destruction that are being carried out in Afghanistan also happen in many advanced countries, but despite this, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has thwarted their efforts and plans,” he said.

He also mentioned that the Taliban government expects to increase the number of armed forces this year to 170,000, and in the future up to 200,000 troops.
