CSTO speaks of growing risk of terrorist infiltration from Afghanistan

There is a growing threat of infiltration of terrorist groups from Afghanistan into the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The CSTO Secretary-General Imangali Tasmagambetov stated this at an expanded meeting of the senior officials from the organization’s Secretariat and Joint Headquarters.

Imangali Tasmagambetov noted that not only the positions of various terrorist groups, but also the powers behind the illegal drug production and trafficking are strengthening in Afghanistan.
