One of the suspects in the attack on the police in Ingushetia surrendered

One of the four participants in an armed attack on law enforcement officers in Ingushetia surrendered to the police.

 

- Amir Bokov, born in 2001, surrendered to the police. Three more people are still wanted, RIA Novosti was told, citing a source in the regional law enforcement agencies.

 

On March 27, as a result of an attack on a traffic police post on the border of Ingushetia and North Ossetia, two police officers were injured. A counter-terrorist operation regime was declared in the region.

 

Armed criminals entered the village of Zyazikov-Yurt in the Malgobek region and barricaded themselves in one of the buildings on the evening of April 5. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, three police officers were killed and eight more were injured in a shootout on the night of April 6. The militants managed to escape, and they are being looked for.

 

Earlier, the body of one of the suspects with gunshot wounds was found. These residents of the republic are put on the wanted list as they are suspected of planning terrorist attacks.
