Washington Post learned about the plans of terrorists in Afghanistan against the US, Europe and Asia

Less than two years after US President Joe Biden withdrew the US troops from Afghanistan, the country has become a key coordination center for the activities of the Islamic State (IS), writes The Washington Post citing leaked Pentagon documents.

The documents indicate that the terrorist group is planning attacks across Europe and Asia, as well as developing a series of “ambitious provocations” against the United States.

On April 9, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said that the United States could be subject to terrorist attacks in the next six months due to President Biden's decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. According to the politician, the events that are now unfolding in the country, combined with the dangers of an open border policy, could lead to a tragedy similar to the attack on the towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in September 2001.
