Jerusalem is investigating a car-ramming terrorist attack in the center of the city

A car rammed into a crowd of pedestrians in the evening of April 24. It is known that least five people have been injured. One is in critical condition. There could have been more victims, as there is a market nearby and the area is lively, always full of people.

The driver of the car was killed at the scene of the police. Additional police forces and emergency services quickly arrived. The attack occurred during a ceremony dedicated to an important date for the Israelis, the Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and victims of attacks.
