Russia and India are committed to strengthen anti-terrorist cooperation within BRICS and SCO

The Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation and India Oleg Syromolotov and Sanjay Verma confirmed their readiness to strengthen constructive anti-terrorist cooperation in a bilateral format and within the framework of the UN, BRICS and SCO on Wednesday at a meeting in Moscow.

The participants of the 12th meeting of the Russian and Indian Joint Working Group on Countering Terrorism stressed the importance of further developing international cooperation on combating the use of modern technologies for terrorist purposes, the spread of terrorist and extremist narratives, as well as suppressing financing and other types of material support of terrorism.
