Chelyabinsk resident arrested for financing terrorist attack

Officers of the Federal Security Service of the Chelyabinsk region detained a man on suspicion of aiding terrorism. According to the investigators, he provided financial support to the person accused in the preparation of the terrorist attack.

The identity of the detainee has not been disclosed. Under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on supporting terrorist activities, he faces from eight to 15 years in prison.
