More than a dozen dead and six wounded in a military operation in south-western Pakistan

13 people, including six military personnel and one civilian, were killed and six hostages were injured during a sweep operation carried out on the territory of a military camp in Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan.

A statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations Service (ISPR), acting as the press service of the Pakistani army, indicates that the operation was carried out on Saturday morning after terrorists attacked the camp of the Frontier Corps of Paramilitary Forces in northern Balochistan on Friday morning. 

“The complex cleanup operation included a hostage rescue operation to rescue three families from a residential area. In their terrible tactics, the terrorists did not spare even children,” ISPR reported.

According to the statement, all six heavily armed terrorists that took part in the attack were eliminated.
