Hizb ut-Tahrir terrorist group member sentenced to 14 years in prison

In Moscow, a court sentenced a member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir terrorist group Bakhrom Khamroev to 14 years in prison. This was reported by Izvestia correspondent Ekaterina Likhomanova.

He was charged with public calls for terrorism on the Internet and supporting activities of a terrorist organization.

According to the investigators, he was recruiting labor migrants, spreading nationalist ideas among them, and helping radicalists evade criminal responsibility.
