A member of a terrorist organization sentenced in Rostov

The Southern District Military Court found a citizen guilty of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization, the press service of the court told RG.

The defendant joined Caucasus Emirate terrorist organization banned in Russia on March 21 last year in Nalchik. He recorded himself giving the pledge of allegiance to the leader of the terrorist group and sent the video via the Internet.

The defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 10.5 years in a strict regime colony.
