A resident of Yaroslavl detained on suspicion of terrorism financing

FSB officers detained a resident of Yaroslavl who is suspected of financing Islamic State foreign terrorist organization. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Yaroslavl region.

The investigative department of the FSB launched a criminal case under Art. 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Financing of Terrorism). The suspect was detained, and a measure of restraint is being decided upon.
