Covert terrorist cell members detained in Tashkent

These men were members of Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad terrorist organization. They held meetings in the capital, planning to join the militants fighting in Syria in the future.

They also established contact with the leaders of the terrorist organization via the Internet using various social media and instant messengers, received instructions from them and spread extremist and fanatic narratives among their circles, glorified the activities of terrorists and urged to join them.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated on this fact, the suspects have been taken into custody, and investigation is underway.
