Three soldiers killed in shootout with terrorists in North Waziristan

Three soldiers were killed in a fierce shootout with terrorists in the North Waziristan district of the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Army Press Service (ISPR) said.

It is reported that the self-defense forces, which are under the control of the army, carried out a raid near the capital of the district, Miran Shah, after receiving operational data on the location of the militants.

According to the press service, as a result of the ensued skirmish, three terrorists were killed and four more were wounded.

Recall that since the beginning of 2023, the terrorist activity of banned groups, including the Taliban Movement of Pakistan, has sharply increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
