A suspected terrorist supporter detained in Khabarovsk Territory

Employees of the FSB of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory detained a citizen of a Central Asian republic suspected of assisting terrorist activities, the press service of the FSB reported.

It was mentioned that a 19-year-old citizen who lived in the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, acting in the interests of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham foreign terrorist organization banned in Russia, provided it with financial assistance to acquire weapons, ammunition and clothing.

The investigative department of the FSB launched a criminal case under Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Assistance to Terrorist Activities”).
