Two terrorism suspects detained in France

French law enforcement detained two radicalists who are suspected of preparing terrorist attacks in the country. Minister of the Interior of France Gérald Darmanin announced this on Twitter.

“Two radicalists who were preparing to implement their plans were detained by the Main Directorate of Internal Security as a result of extensive investigative and operational work,” the TASS news agency quoted him.

It is reported that the detainees are 17 and 21 years old. According to the French Counterintelligence, they belong to the Islamic State terrorist group. During the search, building plan of a Catholic church was found in the apartment of one of them.
