FSB detained two Central African Republic natives in Kaliningrad for terrorism propaganda

Two natives of the Central African Republic were detained in the Kaliningrad region by officers of regional FSB department on suspicion of promoting terrorism.

According to FSB press service, the operatives found that the Africans posted materials calling for terrorist attacks and justifying the activities of the Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad and Al-Qaeda (foreign terrorist organizations banned in the Russian Federation) in social media.

The investigative department of the FSB launched criminal cases under the article “Public calls for terrorist activities, and public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism.”
