Taliban leader claims Afghanistan wants good relations with the world

Afghanistan wants good relations with the whole world, especially with Islamic countries. Supreme Leader of the Taliban movement Haibatullah Akhundzada stated this in his congratulations on the occasion of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha.

At the same time, the Taliban leader warned that “just as we do not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, in the same way we do not allow others to interfere in our internal affairs under any pretext.”

He noted that due to the actions of the Taliban in the country, “the independence of Afghanistan was again ensured, Islamic brotherhood and national unity were strengthened, all kinds of prejudices based on race, language were eliminated, and the territorial integrity of the country was preserved.” The Taliban leader urged the Afghans to “stand for each other and destroy the enemy's plots.”
