Iranian President says Afghan peace is impossible without inclusive government

The establishment of peace in Afghanistan is impossible without establishment of an inclusive government that would represent the interests of various ethnic groups, political parties and religious movements. This was stated by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization held in a virtual format under the chairmanship of India.

Speaking about the situation in Afghanistan, which raises fears among the countries of the region in terms of security, Ebrahim Raisi said that Iran was ready to share its experience of countering terrorism and international drug trafficking with the SCO members.
