The US military eliminated one of the Islamic State leaders as a result of a strike in Syria. This was stated in the widespread message of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces.

“Central Command launched a strike in Syria that eliminated the leader of IS in eastern Syria Osama al-Muhajir,” the text says. “There is no evidence of civilian deaths in the strike. The coalition is looking into reports of civilian casualties.”

According to the report, the strike was carried out by an MQ-9 drone.
