Syrian military eliminate two terrorist leaders in Idlib governorate

The artillery of the Syrian army attacked the positions of Jabhat al-Nusra extremist group in the south of Idlib governorate. Al Watan newspaper reported that two terrorist leaders were eliminated in the Ain Sheiba district and several more militants were injured.

According to the media, the attack was launched in response to repeated violations of the ceasefire in the northern de-escalation zone by the enemy.

Earlier, a workshop for assembling unmanned aerial vehicles, used by terrorists for sabotage in Latakia and Hama governorates, which are under the protection of government forces, was destroyed.

The activity of Jabhat al-Nusra group has increased visibly since the beginning of this year. The victims of their armed attacks in northern Syria were 57 civilians, including 18 children.
