Military personnel of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan conducted exercises in cyberspace
A joint operational and tactical computer-based command and staff exercise “Kanzhar-2023” was held from August 2 to 5 at the venue of the Field Research and Training Center for Modeling and Simulation under the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region,, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exercise took place according to the plan of military cooperation between the ministries of defense of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for 2023. It involved 18 Kazakh servicemen.
During the visit, they got acquainted with the training facilities of the Field Research and Training Center for Modeling and Simulation, as well as the Chirchik Higher Tank Command and Engineering School.
Computer command and staff exercises are a promising area for improving the system of combat training of military personnel. They allow simulating scenarios, and the use of forces and equipment.
After working out combat missions in cyberspace at the Oymash training ground in the Mangistau region, the second stage of the Kanzhar-2023 exercise was launched, which last till August 12.
