A 22-year-old Uzbek man influenced by recruiters fled to Syria to fight for the militants

Recruiters of various terrorist and extremist organizations are active on the Internet, looking for young men and women who can be brainwashed and persuaded to leave for Syria. Unfortunately, one of those deceived was a 22-year-old young man from Uzbekistan, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports.


According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a native of Tashkent Muhammadali Tukhtaev left for Turkey and fell under the influence of recruiters from Katiba al-Ghuraba al-Turkistan terrorist group.


They helped the young man get to Syria by detours, and once there, he joined the ranks of this terrorist group, and is currently taking part in hostilities.


A criminal case has been initiated under Article 244-2 (Creation, Leadership, Participation in Religious Extremist, Separatist, Fundamentalist or Other Prohibited Organizations) of the Criminal Code, and investigation is underway.
