Three people killed and seven injured in explosion in east Afghanistan

Three people were killed and seven others injured as a blast shocked Khost city of east Afghanistan's Khost Province on Monday, according to a statement of the provincial government.

Security personnel have cordoned off the blast area, and further investigations are underway to determine the related facts, the statement said.

At the time of the explosion,  some refugees back from Pakistan's Waziristan region and Khost residents were present at the hotel.
