Six terrorists from the North Caucasus to face trial

The Southern District Military Court will sentence members of At-Takfir Wal-Hijra (extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation), the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation reports.

The six members of the cell are accused of orchestrating a terrorist attack, extremist activities in Russia, manufacturing a bomb and other types of ammunition, creating a cell of a banned organization, and possessing drugs.

According to the investigation, the cell was organized by a resident of Kislovodsk in 2017. Its members were engaged in extremist activities. They actively supported other organizations banned in the Russian Federation, namely IS and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
