Russian aircraft attacked militants' command post in Syria

Aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria attacked the command post of the Ha’yat Tahrir ash-Sham (terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) located in Bekfalun village in Idlib governorate, said Deputy Head of the Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit.

According to him, 17 militants were eliminated, including a number of high-ranking field commanders responsible for orchestrating and carrying out recent attacks on positions of Syrian government troops in the north of Latakia governorate.

He called on the commanders of illegal armed groups to stop shelling the positions of the Syrian government forces and civilian infrastructure. “In the event of new provocations, high-precision air strikes to eliminate the members of terrorist organizations involved will continue,” Rear Admiral warned.
