One terrorist eliminated in a military operation in northwest Pakistan
One terrorist was eliminated during a military operation in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in northwestern Pakistan. This was reported by the Inter-Agency Public Relations Service / ISPR that acts as the press service of the Pakistani army.
Security forces carried out an operation that resulted in intense firefights in the Ladha district of the South Waziristan tribal area bordering Afghanistan, ISPR said in their statement.
They added that the military located the terrorists and eliminated one terrorist in a firefight.
“Weapons and ammunition were confiscated from the eliminated terrorist who actively participated in various terrorist actions in the area,” ISPR added.
According to the military, security forces are conducting a sweep operation to eliminate other terrorists in the area.
