A radical group that planned to carry out terrorist attacks neutralized in Kazakhstan

During a meeting with the President of the country Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Yermek Sagimbaev announced the neutralization of a radical group that planned terrorist attacks in the country. This was reported by the press service of the president of Kazakhstan.

“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the elimination of a radical group whose members planned to carry out terrorist attacks in Kazakhstan. Seven pre-trial investigations into terrorist crimes have been launched, and three extremists have been convicted,” the report says.
