US forces capture IS accomplice in Syria

The US military captured an Islamic State accomplice in Syria. The relevant press release was published by the Central Command (CENTCOM) of the US Armed Forces.

“U.S. Central Command forces successfully conducted a helicopter raid in northern Syria on September 28, 2023,” CENTCOM said in a statement. It is noted that Mamdouh Ibrahim al-Hajji Sheikh was captured during this operation.
