Syrian artillery hit bases of militants who attacked a Homs school

The artillery of the Syrian army subjected the bases of militants who attacked a military school in the city of Homs to massive rocket and mortar attacks.

As the Al Mayadeen TV channel reported, these attacks hit Jabhat al-Nusra-controlled districts of Sermin, Eriha and Benesh in Idlib governorate. The positions of mercenaries from the Islamic Party of Turkestan fighting on their side were also targeted. This extremist organization is made up of Uyghurs, a Turkic people living in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region in northwestern China.

According to the TV channel, all the targets that were struck were destroyed, and the enemy suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment.

Syrian Health Minister Hassan al-Gabash said on October 5 that 80 people fell victims of the attack by terrorists who used drones to attack a military school. The number of wounded reached 240.
