One terrorist killed in a clash with security forces in northwest Pakistan

One terrorist was killed in a clash with security forces in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, the Pakistani army announced.

An intense exchange of fire between army troops and terrorists took place in the Razmak area on Saturday and a terrorist was killed, Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Army's press office, said in a statement.

Arms and ammunition were recovered from the eliminated terrorist, who was actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing innocent civilians, the statement said.

According to ISPR, a clearance operation was carried out to eliminate any other terrorists in the area.
