Resident of Surgut sentenced in a case of financing terrorism

The Central Military Court of Yekaterinburg (Russia) sentenced a resident of Surgut to eight years in prison for financing terrorism, the press service of FSB department for the Tyumen region informed TASS.

As the press service indicated, a member of the interregional cell of the foreign terrorist organization Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad Nasrullo Nematzhanov, who held radical religious views, knew for certain that the activities of this terrorist organization were prohibited in Russia, but nevertheless transferred money to a banking card used by the members of the terrorist organization.
