Director of the Russian FSB announces terrorist plans to seize power in Central Asia

Director of the Russian FSB Alexander Bortnikov said that power in the countries of Central Asia is a priority for foreign terrorist organizations. RIA Novosti reported.

The terrorists’ priority goal is to seize power in the countries of Central Asia, primarily in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, and include them in the so-called “Global Caliphate,” Bortnikov said.

He added that Central Asian citizens who have joined the terrorist groups are conducting reconnaissance in the border areas in order to identify vulnerable areas for the infiltration of sabotage groups and weapons.
