Two people arrested in Milan on suspicion of terrorism

During the anti-terrorist operation in Milan, two people were arrested - an Egyptian citizen and an Italian of Egyptian native. According to ANSA, they are accused of involvement in a terrorist organization and orchestration of terrorist attacks.

As Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani said on Radio 1, the alert levels of law enforcement agencies has increased, but there are no direct terrorist threats in the country. According to him, isolated episodes of terrorist activities by individuals cannot be ruled out.
