US shot down two drones attempting to attack coalition forces in Iraq

The United States shot down two drones that were attempting to attack American troops and the coalition in Iraq, a representative of the US Department of Defense told RIA Novosti.

“An attempted attack against US and coalition forces in Iraq was thwarted early on the morning of October 18. Two drones were shot down during the attack,” the Pentagon said. The agency also added that no military personnel were injured as a result of the incident.
