An American military base in western Iraq once again attacked by a drone
Once again, a drone attacked the US military base of Ain al-Assad in Anbar province in western Iraq, Al Mayadeen TV channel reported.
According to the TV channel, the Iraqi branch of the radical Hamas movement took responsibility for the attack. The UAV hit its targets; no information has yet been provided about the damage caused or casualties.
On October 22, as Arab media reported, fighters from Shia militia belonging to the Islamic Resistance of Iraq attacked the Ain al-Assad military base in Anbar province, firing several missiles at it. On October 19 and 20, the Ain al-Assad base was attacked by drones.
Earlier, Shia militia fighters demanded that the United States withdraw its troops from Iraq and other countries in the Middle East. The statement emphasized that “American troops must immediately leave the region, otherwise their bases will be constantly attacked.”
