Drones attack a US military base in Syria
Several unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the US military base Al-Shaddadi in Hasakah governorate in northeastern Syria. Al Mayadeen TV channel reported this on November 13, citing its own sources.
“Three drones attacked the American al-Shaddadi base in Hasakah in northeastern Syria,” the report said.
Earlier, the TV channel also reported a massive missile attack on a US base located at the Koniko oil field in Deir ez-Zor governorate in eastern Syria. In total, at least 15 missiles were fired at the military facility. As a result of the attack, according to a statement by Al Mayadeen, several American troops were killed.
As Regnum news agency reported, the American military base at Harir in northern Iraq was also attacked by an explosive-bearing drone on November 11. Previously, a military facility had already been subjected to a similar attack on November 9, when a massive fire broke out and fuel tanks caught fire as a result of a strike by two UAVs.
