Two militants were eliminated by Indian security forces during an anti-terrorism operation in Rajouri district in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This was reported by the national publication India Today, citing comments from representatives of security forces.

It is noted that one of those eliminated was a high-ranking member of the extremist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. It was indicated that he has been carrying out subversive activities in Rajouri since last year.

Earlier it was reported that four Indian soldiers were killed, and two more were injured. It is also indicated that weapons and ammunition were found in the area of hostilities with militants.
