Friday attack in Herat, Afghanistan leaves seven killed and three wounded

Seven people were killed and three more were injured in an armed attack by unknown assailants in Herat province on December 1. Ariana News reported this, citing sources in the security services.

According to eyewitnesses, the target of the attack was two local mullahs riding in a cart. Four women were among the victims. The victims also included residents of the village of Deh Sabz who came to Herat for Friday prayers.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
