ISIS claims responsibility for a blast in Philippines

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a deadly bombing during a Catholic service in the Philippines. At least four people were killed in the tragic incident on Sunday. Fifty people were injured.

The attack took place at a university gym in Marawi, a city in the south of the country that was besieged by Islamist militants for five months in 2017.

The Islamic State group reported on Telegram that the bomb was detonated by its militants.
