The Taliban say they were not involved in the terrorist attack in Pakistan

The radical Taliban movement has nothing to do with the terrorist attack in Pakistan and is ready to conduct an investigation into accusations put forward by Islamabad. The spokesman of the interim Afghan government formed by the Taliban Zabihullah Mujahid stated this.

On December 12, six extremists attacked a Pakistani security checkpoint in Daraban district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. During the attack, a car with explosives, driven by a suicide bomber, was rammed into a school building where military personnel were present. The explosion led to the collapse of the building and the death of 23 servicemen. All militants involved in the attack were eliminated. Tehrik-i-Jihad Pakistan, a group affiliated with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, which is banned in the republic, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry summoned the Charge d'Affaires of Afghanistan and demanded Kabul to investigate, publicly condemn the attack and hand over the participants and organizers of the attack to the Pakistani authorities.
