The Syrian army shot down seven drones launched by "terrorist groups"

The Syrian Armed Forces shot down seven unmanned aerial vehicles launched by “terrorist groups” on Sunday. This was reported in a statement circulated by the Syrian army.

As noted in the statement, “terrorist groups” on Sunday carried out drone attacks on a number of villages and towns in Aleppo governorate in northern Syria and Hama province in the central part of the country. The Syrian armed forces shot down 7 drones and thwarted attacks by “terrorist groups.”

On October 5, a drone attack on a graduation ceremony at a military academy in the central Syrian governorate of Homs killed at least 89 people and injured 277 others.
